Fortnite Battle Royale: Season 11 will include bots

Epic Games has announced that during Season 11 of Fortnite Battle Royale there will be bots, machine controlled opponents to enhance gameplay.

We are still in Week 8 of Season X of the Pass Battle of Fortnite Battle Royale , but Epic Games sees beyond the present. Through a post on the official Fortnite blog , the company behind the popular Battle Royale has announced a major change that will take place during Season 11 of the game: the player- to-player pairing system will be updated , and bots will be added , opponents controlled by the machine.

In a quest to constantly improve, Epic Games plans to dramatically tweak the Fortnite Battle Royale matchmaking system . That is, polishing the system so that each time we enter a game, the game matches us with players of the same skill level, to avoid unfair situations. These changes will take place as soon as patch 10.40 is applied to Fortnite , the date of which is, at the time of writing this news, still to be determined.

Machine controlled opponents will arrive in Season 11

The other big change that plans to apply to Fortnite Battle Royale is the inclusion of bots - machine-controlled players - in the game's standard modes . That is, In Solitaire, Duets and Squads. According to Epic Games, "These will behave similarly to normal players and offer a better alternative to gain gaming experience."

The general idea that they have regarding the implementation of these AI controlled opponents is that, if we are newbies, we will find more bots, and vice versa . As we play and Fortnite recognizes that our performance improves, we will encounter fewer opponents of this type , and more players themselves. From the latter we deduce that the bots will not have a too high ability, and that they will be included, in broad strokes, to make targets for less skillful players.

Fortnite Battle Royale Season X is expected to end on October 5 or 6 . There's no official release date for Battle Royale Season 11 yet.
